The Ambassador program is one way that Badin reaches out to our community. Students from each class are chosen to represent what Badin is and what it has to offer. It's a great way for students to develop their public relations skills, and it also keeps Badin involved in the growth of our community.
Student Ambassadors put Badin's "best foot forward" as public relations representatives of the high school.
Freshmen Ambassadors are selected in September of the current school year, while upper-class Ambassadors and the organization's officers are selected in the spring for the following school year. Ambassadors must apply for the opportunity by filling out an application form and going through an interview process with the Ambassadors.
Just because someone is an Ambassador one year does not guarantee him or her an Ambassador spot the following year - students sign up to express their continued interest. (And students who are not selected as an Ambassador one year are not eliminated from being an Ambassador another year.)
Ambassadors sign contracts that commit them to the program and are expected to turn in copies of their report card after each quarter of the school year.
